The Stagg SDM100 CR Dynamic Microphone is a quality built item. It is made of metal and has an amazing sound to it. It is comparable to the Shure 58 but has a little crisper high end and picks up some background noise. However, it is just as clear and wins the looks contest. The microphone cable is 10' long and it has the CE certification stamp on its base. It is not wireless but impressive looking and sounds good, using a standard XLR mic cable. One design flaw is that it doesn't fit all microphone stands due to the thickness and location of its input. Some solutions are suggested in the answer section. Customers are satisfied with the sound quality of the microphone, noting virtually no buzz or feedback at moderate volume. It is ideal for vocals, harmonica and saxophone.
