There is speculation from gamers if there will be a Chinese language option, though only a Japanese voice pack will be available for the Western release, with the Japan version having Japanese and Chinese subtitles. The game follows a new story with new characters and is connected to Xenoblade 1 at the end. The game has an immense and defined story, with no moral or dialogue choices that impact the narrative. Apart from this, the characters and storyline are phenomenal, though everything else is worse when compared to the first game. Specifically, the battle system, level design and soft lockouts that force you to do tedious tasks to continue with the game are worse. Additionally, players can run into enemies they cannot beat and the game has an overactive and easy battle system, making the game less challenging. On the other hand, most customers are satisfied with their purchase, with some receiving physical versions with the most current patches, and others happy as there is the option to play in Spanish. Those who enjoy RPGs will appreciate the story and characters in this game.
