The Powermatic PM1000 1791000K Table Saw is an excellent choice for woodworking professionals. The saw is known for its stable cutting system, durable Construction, and ease of use. The saw's mass makes it stable and less prone to vibrations, leading to cleaner cuts. The cabinet-mounted trunnions offer superior security than the competition. The saw's magnetic on/off switch makes it easy to access and use, even when both hands aren't free. The PM1000 features superior dust collection compared to other models in the market, provided that the user has an efficient dust collection plan/system in place. While assembly requires some effort, it is still less work-intensive than other models available. The saw's table isn't tapered, allowing you to mount a cast iron extension table for your router on the left side with the proper support.
