Will this installation kit fit other vehicle models?

No, this kit is specifically designed for 1992-2011 Ford Crown Victoria.

Does the kit include a spotlight?

No, this kit only includes the necessary hardware and instructions for mounting a spotlight.

Is the chrome plated finish durable?

Yes, our finish is long-lasting and of high-quality to resist chipping and corrosion.

I have the door cut out and the hole already drilled. Will this kit still work for me?

This mounting kit worked for us. We did have power for a short while. Key will be to connect it correctly to the fuse box. Our fuse blew and shorted a few others as well, but the kit worked.

Will this fit my 2011 Dodge Charger?

If you order based on application, the one I ordered was for 2005 crown vic.

Is the mounting kit required for the spotlight to work?

As far as wiring yes. You don't really need the metal bracket part; you can use the light without that part.

Does this only work for the standard halogen spotlight or can you use it for the LED spotlight?

It will work for halogen or LED. The Whelen PAR46 is very bright.
