It is also safe for those who are sensitive to chemicals. One of the best aspects of Colavita Polenta is that it is ready in half the time of traditional polenta as it is pre-cooked corn flour. Featuring authentic Italian flavour, some people treated it as a substitute because they cannot get their hands on their local grain. Most agreed that it's a quality product that mixes smoothly without any clumps. The packaging has no reference to GMOs but it doesn't mention any, and it's from Italy. While some customers said that it is perfect for their recipe, others noted that the flavour is just okay and wouldn't work for slow cooking or the traditional long cooking method. One customer mentioned that the expiry date was pretty short, so they didn't have enough time to use it.
