The Lightweight Hydrocal C1201 is a versatile product that can be used for various crafting purposes. It is not waterproof, but can become water-resistant if sealed properly. Once it sets, it can be sanded. It can be used in both plaster and rubber molds, but may not pop out easily from hard plastic molds. The product air dries and can be used to create highly detailed scenery. It is not recommended to use Sculptamold as a substitute for this product, as it may result in loss of detail. The 1/2 gallon container refers to the dried powder, and when mixed with water, it hardens to the same volume.
