The HM-19 cannot be used to emulate an HID device. It is Considered a type of pipe to send and receive serial data via Bluetooth. There are mixed reviews about the product. Some customers had issues with connection stability and range, while others were able to use it to control their devices without any problems. Some encountered power issues when using IO pins with 5V, but adding level shifters or using a 5V to 3.3V LDO solved the problem. A replacement was sent immediately to a customer who had issues with their HM-19 Bluetooth device, and customer support was friendly and responsive.
